Menlo Park Students competed in the regional competition of the Invention Convention hosted at the Great Lakes Science Center.
Bringing together student inventors from all over the state, the event highlighted the best of the next generation of scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs.
This year, over 198 participants from kindergarten to eighth grade showed off their unique ideas to judges as they discussed their process, their research, and their prototype invention. Menlo Park Academy was proudly represented by nine top-notch competitors, with four students winning awards for their hard work.

In total, MPA student inventors won over $1,000 in scholarship prizes. The MPA community is exceptionally proud of all of its dedicated young inventors.
