Menlo Park Academy rated Ohio’s best charter elementary school and best charter middle school

Menlo Park Academy, the Cleveland-based school for gifted children in grades K-8, has been recognized as one of the top-performing schools in the state of Ohio for a third consecutive year, according to Niche.

“We’re thrilled that we have been recognized as a 2021 Best School by Niche,” said Seamus O’Hara, school director at Menlo Park Academy. “We know that our school is a wonderful place for gifted students to learn and grow, and are proud of our students and staff for earning this distinction.”

Menlo Park Academy was rated as the No. 1 Charter Elementary School in Ohio, and the No. 1 Charter Middle School in Ohio by Niche.

Niche is a website with in-depth profiles on every school and college in America, and more than 140 million reviews and ratings. Millions of students and families use Niche to help them find and enroll in the right school for them.

Its rankings are devised from comparing key statistics, reviews, and academic and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education.

MPA was previously rated as one of the best 250 schools in the nation in 2020, and was the No. 1 Charter Middle School in 2019.

“We’re appreciative of our entire community — our students, parents, faculty, staff and every stakeholder that is part of our school — for their hard work every day to make Menlo Park Academy worthy of national attention,” said Teri Harrison, chair of the Board of Directors.

Menlo Park Academy is a public community school in Cleveland that nurtures gifted children from kindergarten through eighth grade.
