Menlo Park Academy STEAM teacher Kristin Barnes was featured in a recent article in Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine (January 2021)
Barnes and other teachers in the Cleveland area shared some of the skills that children can tap through STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) that will help them succeed in school and in the future.
“The biggest benefits of STEM learning are the link to 21st century skills as well as self-esteem, social interaction, confidence and problem solving,” Barnes said. “These skills are important for all subjects and real-life situations as well.”
