With schools bringing more students back into their buildings, and vaccine rollout underway for educators in Ohio, a pair of Menlo Park Academy administrators were interviewed about the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has created, and how the school has worked through those challenges.
School Director Seamus O’Hara and Associate Director of Admissions Jennifer Ingraham spoke with WKYC 3 host Alexa Lee about Menlo Park Academy’s COVID-19 safety approach to meeting the needs of families with in-person and virtual learning, and the increasing desire of many families to return to in-person learning.

O’Hara and Ingraham were also asked about a recent accolade for the school — Menlo Park Academy was ranked the No. 1 charter elementary school and the No. 1 charter middle school in Ohio.
“It’s a testament to the great things that have happened historically in this building, and are going to be happening in the future,” O’Hara said. “Everything we do is to serve the needs of gifted children and making them whole people. It’s all with the purpose of who they are as students and people… We wanted everyone to be outstanding individuals in the world when they leave here.”
