April 22 Kindergarten Readiness Session

Our Kindergarten Readiness Session (6-7 p.m.) is geared for parents of preschool children who want to learn more about preparing for entrance into kindergarten at Menlo Park Academy.

The school’s Office of Admissions and Communication will discuss concepts for a foundation of learning, such as Language Arts, Mathematics, Motor Development Skills and Self-Help Skills, with the understanding that gifted children develop skills at different rates.

Parents will also learn:

  • Key indicators of gifted children, and what it means to be "gifted."
  • How gifted learning is different from traditional classrooms, and Menlo Park Academy's approach to curriculum.
  • Why Menlo Park Academy is right for your gifted child, and the qualification criteria to enroll.
