MPA 5th Annual Walkathon

April 10, 2015

The MPA 5thAnnual Walkathon was held on the school grounds of Menlo Park Academy. The Walkathon fundraiser and community builder has become a student and family favorite, engaging students across the school and welcoming parent participation.

boys at WalkAThonThis year MPA adopted a popular organizing model used by several other schools in the Northeast Ohio region.  MPA families received packets for their student(s) and were asked to send out letters to friends and family members for support of the event.  Prizes were offered to classrooms with the highest participation, families with the most dollars earned, and longest distance donation received.  Once again, the MPA community exceeded expectations and this year the WalkAThon raised over $15,000 in support of the students!

In addition to individual support, local businesses also provided financial support to the WalkAThon.
